Why Bran Is So Weird in This Season of 'Game of Thrones,' According to Isaac Wright
We've read your tweets and reactions, Candy Girls. And in case you're as weirded out as we are by Bran Stark's weirdness (HA!) in this season of HBO's Game of Thrones, then allow actor Isaac Hempstead Wright to shed some light on that blip.
In an interview, the actor who plays Bran on the show talked about his recent reunion with his sisters Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa (Sophie Turner), which will hopefully give you an idea of his ~*important*~ role this season.
When he finally catches up with Sansa at Winterfell, does he feel any family affiliation or is he totally un-Bran-like by this point?
Isaac: "He's totally not-Bran, unfortunately, which is why it's so bittersweet when these three orphaned kids who have been separated their whole life finally come back together. There's this great moment between Sansa and Arya where I go to Arya, 'Oh, you're back', and then Sansa goes 'Yeah, Bran is a bit different now'. There's probably a spark in there somewhere that registers, 'Oh, my sisters, that's nice'. But, in general, these things don't matter to him anymore. All that matters is the Great War."

How does Bran help Sansa this season?
"Now [that] they've got access to Bran, it's like having a CCTV camera that's filmed the whole series and knows everything."
Isaac: "Now [that] they've got access to Bran, it's like having a CCTV camera that's filmed the whole series and knows everything. So with Bran's help, Sansa or Arya can look back and go, 'Oh, you were lying about that, that, and that'. Arya and Sansa have been lied to a lot by almost everyone! So that's probably Bran's most important contribution."
Guess we have to wait and see to know the rest!
