Aside from Kim Bok Joo and Jung Joon Hyung, we also fell in love with the other characters on the Korean drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. There's Joon Hyung's adorable roommate Tae Kwon and Bok Joo's super cute best friends, Nan Hee and Seon Ok. After the drama ended, we kept stalking the actors who played them, looking forward to their other projects because we really love them, too!
And today, finally, we have deets on Seon Ok's new project! Lee Joo Young, the actress who plays the role on Weightlifting Fairy, landed her first lead role in a Korean drama. Woohoo!
According to ILoveKStars.com, the actress will be starring in JTBC's new web drama series Hip Han Sensei where she'll be playing the role of a hip hop elementary teacher. Sounds exciting and we think it really suits her, too.
No release date was announced yet, but we're definitely putting this in our long list of must-watch shows this year!
