We Love These *Hugot* Reactions to the Movie 'Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon'

(Warning: Spoilers ahead!)
In 2015, Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa was released. Directed by Nestor Abrogena, the story is about Sam (Nicco Manalo), a professor, and his student, Isa (Emmanuelle Vera), trying to make their relationship work, which later on, broke our hearts when they went their separate ways.
Last year, they released the sequel of the movie titled Tayo Sa Huling Buwang Ng Taon, which is now available on Netflix. With the same main cast members, the storyline continues five years after Sam and Isa broke up. In the story, both of them continued on with their own lives with their own respective partners. Isa is migrating to San Francisco with her boyfriend Frank (Alex Medina), while Sam is in a relationship with his co-teacher Anna (Anna Luna). But everything went downhill when the ex-lovers meet again in a Christmas lights event at the Ayala Triangle. Definitely not the perfect place to see your ex. But fate happened and now they are part of each other’s lives again. Fast forward, after Sam and Isa’s heart-wrenching, tear-jerking, sappy phone conversation, it all ends with compromise and forgiveness.
With the plot and the film’s original soundtrack (OST), the film made everyone who watched it release their inner hugotera and hugotero selves. And we probably learned some things that we can apply to our own lives as well.
Some things are better left unsaid.
Yup.
tayo sa huling buwan ng taon, made me realized so HARD if you truly love someone you need to learn how to let go and some feelings are better left unsaid + yung MATURITY nila Isa, Frank, Anna and Sam ???????? AND pls watch Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa also ????#TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon

Don't let your past intertwine with your present.
Past is past, dude.
Not to be that bitter bitch, but ex(es) should be left in the past. Especially when malice still lingers. Hayup kayo Isa at Sam. Kawawa mga partner niyo sa inyo. Get over with your past by not overlapping it with your present. ???? #TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon

"What happened to us?" issa ~scam~.
"We got lost" is the only right answer.
#TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon key takeaways:

1. “It was nice seeing you.” is a trap.
2. “How are you?” is also a trap.
3. “What happened to us?” is a scam.
A LOT of things will happen in five years.
Either you go on with your life or bring back your past.
five years later, it's either u get to be together or ruin each other's present happy lives. #TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon

Don't fall in love with someone else if you still can't let go of your past.
Just no.
lesson sa movie nato, don't love someone when you're not yet fully recovered from your past. #TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon

Pag-ibig o paghanap sa sarili?
What would you choose?
4/5 Again, just like in the prequel, TSHBNT was a film about choices: pag-ibig o pangarap, pero I think it's more of "paghahanap sa sarili". Iba talaga pag @TBAStudiosPH tapos @decemberave pa ang OST, sagad!https://t.co/647dPcnMkG#TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon#UsAtTheEndOfTheYear
