WATCH: Deleted Divergent Knife Attack Scene

Kinda graphic, but a must-watch for Divergent fans!

Fans of Veronica Roth's Divergent series can finally watch one of the most memorable parts from the book that didn't make it to the final cut to preserve the film's PG-13 rating—the knife attack scene, which premiered via Yahoo! Movies earlier.

The clip begins with the Dauntless gang (Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, and Ben Lloyd-Hughes) awakened by the sound of a struggling Ed (Ben Lamb). They later on discover that he's been stabbed with a knife in his left eye. As Tris comforts Ed, she looks up and finds a suspicious and kinda creepy Peter (Miles Teller) who steps out from the shadows.

This knife attack scene is just one of the brutal scenes cut from the film. But you can watch the rest of them on the Divergent DVD, which will be out on August 5.

What do you think of this scene, Candy Girls? Which parts from the book were you bummed not to see in the movie? Tell us in the comments or tweet us @candymagdotcom!
