Ever since Vico Sotto became mayor, his social media posts have become significantly more reserved and less goofy than when he was a councilor. It’s not that he’s become more serious or is putting up a front, but obviously, work has taken much of his goofy time especially amid a pandemic.
But we found a space where the mayor gives us a rare glimpse into his personal life. By “rare,” we mean two TikTok posts.
In the first post, which Sotto labels as “Before-Shower and Sleep Routine,” we learn a couple of things about the young mayor and his family:
1. Vico Sotto still lives with his Mama.
2. Is he a fan of South Border?
3. Kahit Kailan might be on his playlist.
4. Tita Coney sleeps early.
5. Vico Sotto wears a mask at home.
6. And removes his shoes inside the house.
7. He showers every night when he gets home from work.

In a separate TikTok post, Sotto once again relieves his repressed passion for basketball at home. We can imagine how his work and the pandemic has robbed him of his favorite sport.
