For the first time ever, the annual University of the Philippines Fair will start on a Monday instead of the traditional Tuesday. The lineup for February 10, 2020 reads like a who’s who of some of today’s biggest OPM superstars.

Leading the charge are UDD, Ebe Dancel, Unique Salonga and Callalily.

Also in the lineup that evening are Slapshock, SB19, Glaiza De Castro, This Band, Kjwan, Clara Benin, Reese Lansangan and Philia.

The other performers include artists in the O/C Records stable, which is in charge of the Monday night schedule: Gian Magdangal, Earl Generao, Rice Lucido, Frizzle Anne, Bita and the Botflies, Martin Riggs, Calein, Zsaris, Paraluman, Bird., and members of the country’s busking community.

One of the most awaited events not just on the UP calendar, but in the local music scene, the UP Fair is traditionally held during February at the university’s Sunken Garden. There are various food and game booths as well as amusement park rides.

The Fair usually starts on a Tuesday and features a slew of local OPM heroes every night until Saturday. The University Student Council partnered with O/C Records to produce the first-ever Monday night production in recent history.

In addition to the lineup, O/C Records has also announced a Battle of the Bands competition to find new bands that will be included in the lineup and play that evening.

If you or someone you know is interested, mechanics can be found on the O/C Records Facebook page.
