South Korean boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) are truly making 2021 their year and establishing their mark as a fourth generation "it" group. The boy group's five members—composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai—are the latest ambassadors of local telcom giant Smart Communications.
As Gen Z idols, TXT are known for music that resonates with the younger audience, told through unique concepts, elaborate choreographies, and catchy melodies. "They are able to represent our young subscribers’ desire to constantly build on their passions and stay committed to their dreams despite the odds,” says Jane J. Basas, SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.
Fresh from their debut in 2019 under HYBE's Big Hit Music, TXT has already bagged several accolades, including the Rookie of the Year awards from Melon Music Awards and Asia Artist Awards.
Despite their age, the members are more than eager to expand their skills outside of simply performing by also participating in the production of the music they come out with.Their latest release is a repackaged album called The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape, which the members had a hand in writing (Yup, they did that!). Here's what each member likes the most about the process of making music:
But of course, they're not just all about music. Get to know them and find out what they're like off-duty here:
