Beauty pageants, especially ones on Miss Universe's scale, are tough to qualify for. While we admire them for their stunning looks and powerful presence while on stage, these beauty queens are also role models in various aspects outside of the pageant scene. Some are accomplished professionals at a young age, while others are forging their own paths and following their own pace.

Miqueal-Symone Williams, Miss Jamaica
Miqueal-Symone took up Marketing as her college major. She graduated from University of the West Indies. Aside from being a professional model, her Miss Universe bio says that she Miqueal-Symone started a project called "The Bloom Initiative" which gives underprivileged Jamaican children access to internet for online class.
Kimberly Jimenez, Miss Dominican Republic
At 24 years old, Kimberly is on her way to getting a double degree in Forensic Sciences and Business Administration. She does this while simultaneously working as a model and stage actress.
Adline Castelino, Miss India
At only 22 years old, Adline is a graduate of Wilson College where she took up Business Administration.
Janick Maceta Del Castillo, Miss Peru
While her Miss U bio did not mention her college course, Miss Peru Janick Maceta works as an audio engineer in New York. She's also worked with several prominent figures in the music industry, including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Akon.
Maria Thattil, Miss Australia
Miss Australia took up Psychology as her undergraduate major and graduated with honors. She also has a master's degree in Management and graduated with first class honors. Her job titles include accredited life coach, speaker, and digital creator, to name a few.
Estefania Soto Torres, Miss Puerto Rico
Miss Puerto Rico studied in various countries, including France, Belgium, and Mexico. She graduated with a degree in Foreign Languages and took up Intercultural Mediation for her master's. Aside from Intercultural Mediation, she also has a master's degree in sociological, anthropological and gender perspective.
Amanda Obdam, Miss Thailand
Amanda Obdam was born and raised in Thailand, but went to Canada for college. She took up Business Administration at University of Toronto and even graduated with honors. Aside from being a beauty queen, Amanda is an entrepreneur. She co-founded a clothing line that highlights traditional batik art.
Ivonne Cerdas, Costa Rica
Miss Costa Rica Ivonne Cerdas took up Software Engineering at Universidad Tecnica Nacional in Costa Rica. She hopes to get a master's degree in Information Security. Currently, she works as a Solution Analyst at Intel.
Andrea Meza, Miss Mexico
Andrea Meza, who was also crowned the Miss Universe 2020, also graduated with a degree in Software Engineering. She also has other interests, like crossfit, extreme sports, and advocating for women's rights.
Julia Gama, Miss Brazil
Miss Brazil graduated with a degree in Drama Arts. She is an active actress in China and is the first Brazilian actress to do break into the Chinese film industry. Aside from performing arts, she also has an interest in science and studied chemistry engineering.
