This Song Will Make You Feel That It's Really Okay To Be Uncool

We will carve our place into time and space.

You might remember Alessia Cara as the musician and YouTube star who gave us the wonderful track "Scars To Your Beautiful," a song we listen to whenever we're feeling like we're just not enough.

This week, the singer gives us another powerful hit—the kind we really need for all of our days. Alessia sings "Wild Things," a track about being okay that you're not part of the cool crowd or the cool kids.

During her acoustic performance for Ryan Seacrest's show, the 19-year-old introduced the track, saying, "It's about self-acceptance and kind of saying I don't need to be this great, amazing person or this smart person, or this popular person to still feel cool about myself. And for all the people who don't really feel like they have a place, we can make our own place."

Right you are, Alessia! Hit the play button now to listen to her track. It's the perfect song to start your day with, we promise.
