Every couple has their own love language. But giving flowers to your SO is a classic no-fail move to show your appreciation for them. This guy, however, took the romantic gesture to another level to show his love for his girlfriend. Angelo Aquino decided not to buy flowers for his girlfriend Jona Pare. Instead, he decided to plant them and grow them himself.
In a now-viral Facebook post, Angelo shared photos of his plantito journey. In three days after planting the seeds, tiny sprouts started to pop out of the soil. Angelo also shared that he would always water them (otherwise they would start to wither) and spray pesticides on them. And because sunflowers grow better in full sun, part of his plantito routine is to make sure they get enough sunlight.
In 44 days, the flowers have started to appear. And in 50 days, he was able to grow sunflower plants that were almost as tall as him. Aside from the basic necessities like water and sunlight, Angelo shared that he'd also talk to his plants and give them sweet and encouraging words.
In the end of his plantito journey, Angelo was able to make an entire bouquet of sunflowers which he assembled himself. " There’s nothing sweeter than growing your own plants, and giving them to someone you love. Taking care of the plants, talking to them, and watching them grow. You’ll have the pride. I hope you guys do the same," shares Angelo.Â
