If you're a huge fan of anime and are looking for something new to get into, you're in for a surprise. Netflix has just released the trailer for Ezra Koenig's series. The Vampire Weekend's lead vocalist created the anime-inspired original series Neo Yokio. (via Entertainment Weekly)

In this first look, we see "the greatest city in the world," Neo Yokio and meet the #1 most eligible bachelor (and demon slayer, NBD) Kaz Kaan, voiced by Jaden Smith. Netflix shares that Neo Yokio is "a collaboration with Japanese anime studios Production IG and Studio Deen, along with MOI, the Seoul-based animation studio, the series is a postmodern collage of homages to classic anime, English literature and modern New York fashion and culture." Other voice talents featured in the series are Tavi Gevinson, Amandla Stenberg, Alexa Chung, Willow Smith, and Kiernan Shipka.

If you're a fan of Rurouni Kenshin and Ranma 1/2, you'll be happy to know Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Junji Nishimura are storyboard artists for the series.

Neo Yokio will be available for streaming on Netflix on September 22.
