The One Direction Boys Are Busy Working On Their First Album Sans Zayn Malik

This is really happening.

Has it really been almost four weeks after it has been announced that Zayn Malik is leaving One Direction? Has it really been that long? That announcement seems so far away now as the remaining 1D boys (it still hurts typing that down, you guys)—Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan—keep themselves busy working on their next album, their first one without Zayn. Daddy Directioner Liam made the announcement via his Twitter account a few days ago.

He has since started posting updates of his sessions with Louis and British musician Jamie Scott. ICYDK he co-wrote "Story of My Life" and "Midnight Memories" among many other 1D hits. They've been tweeting and sharing photos on Instagram that we're super glad to spend the entire day stalking.

Meanwhile, we have yet to hear about what Harry and Niall have been up to. Last thing we read, Harry just celebrated the fifth anniversary of his X-Factor audition and Niall slipped while he was being interviewed while caddying for Rory McIlroy at the 2015 Masters Tournament. #OhNoNiall

Wishing you all the best on your upcoming album, boys!
