"Perfectly splendid!"

The Haunting of Bly Manor has been making it difficult for viewers to sleep without the lights on since it started streaming on Netflix last October 9. The new spine-chilling series, which may or may not involve creepy faceless ladies who abduct kids and lurk at the bottom of the lake, follows a young American nanny named Dani (Victoria Pedretti) who was tasked to look after two children—Flora, 8, and Miles, 10—and reside at the Bly Manor after an au pair’s tragic death.

Speaking of the young Wingrave children, while you were binge-watching all nine episodes of the horror series, we’re guessing that little Flora, portrayed by British actress Amelie Bea Smith, has probably left you quite an impression. There’s something strangely familiar about her, don’t you think? Specifically her voice.

Well, surprise, surprise! As it turns out, the nine-year-old child actress is actually the voice behind the popular preschool animated series Peppa Pig. (Yup, we’re dead serious.)

Peppa Pig, which has been around since 2004 (way before Amelie was born), has previously been voiced by several actresses in the past, including Harley Bird, Cecily Bloom, and Lily Snowden-Fine, who was the first girl to lend its vocals for the beloved cartoon character. Amelie took over the job earlier this year and has since completed 13 episodes, according to IMDb.

Still don’t believe us? Netflix actually joined in on the buzz and took to social media to confirm the news. Its official Twitter account declared, “Amelie Bea Smith from The Haunting of Bly Manor is also the voice of Peppa Pig! Pass it on.”

And now that the not-so-secret is out, the internet obviously couldn’t handle it. Hilarious reactions from the netizens easily flooded Twitter, making it an instant gold mine with memes featuring The Haunting of Bly Manor and Peppa Pig crossover that we never knew we needed:

Here's the thing, though: Amelie's gig with Peppa Pig may sound funny to some, but the child actress is in fact likely to earn up to one million pounds per year from this project alone. It's a global brand, after all, and Amelie's predecessor was reportedly paid £1000 an hour. In an interview with The Metro, a publicity agent said, "With how much of a juggernaut Peppa Pig is, I can definitely see Amelie making at least a million within the next year or so."

Now if that isn’t “perfectly splendid,” we don’t know what is.
