‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ Cast Reveals They’ve Never Filmed Together As A Group Yet
If you haven’t added The King: Eternal Monarch to your Netflix list yet, don’t worry! You still have a chance to catch up before episodes 7 and 8 drop this week. ICYDK, the show revolves around parallel universes which gives the cast members two different roles to play (so far, we’ve seen everyone’s doppelgangers, save for Lee Min Ho’s, Kim Go Eun’s, and Jung Eun Chae’s characters). It’s interesting and totally admirable to see the actors take on completely different personas, which is just one of the things that makes the K-drama worth watching.
While the cast members have already shown range by portraying different roles, they revealed that they’ve actually yet to shoot scenes together. In a fun interview with The Swoon, Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun, Jung Eun Chae, Woo Do Hwan, and Kim Kyung Nam played a round of Who, Me? where they answer who among the cast is most likely to be or do something.
Through the mini game, the cast all laughed at the fact that they still know very little about each other because they haven't had the chance to film together as a group yet. Lee Min Ho even says, “I think we’ve grown closer over the last 20 minutes than we did over the last five months.” Still, the cast was able to show just how much chemistry the have which each other, and even playfully poked fun at Kim Kyung Nam's napaka-seryosong pic.
