What makes a queen bee? Well, according to the high school rulebook that is Mean Girls, there are three main factors: a good physique, a band of loyal followers, and an Aaron Samuels of their own. But of course, each queen bee is different and has something that is uniquely hers—just look at these girls!

  1. Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill (2003-2012)

Good physique: Check, thanks to hours of cheerleading practice.

Band of loyal followers: Brooke wasn't just the captain of the cheer squad, but also student council president, homecoming queen, founder of the anti-drunk driving service "DW not I," and member of multiple high school clubs.

Her Aaron Samuels: Three words: Lucas Freaking Scott.

X-Factor: "Not pretty enough, not talented enough, not good enough." Brooke may have put up a tough front, but deep inside, she was just as vulnerable and broken as the next person. And when she finally owned it, the long journey made it that much sweeter.

X-Factor: Blair wasn't always fair to her minions, but she was fiercely protective of her core group of friends a.k.a. the Non-Judging Breakfast Club.

  1. Quinn Fabray from Glee (2009-2015)

Good physique: See: hours of cheerleading practice.

Band of loyal followers: She was captain of the Cheerios and the Celibacy Club, and also a member of the New Directions and the God Squad.

Her Aaron Samuels: She thought Finn Hudson was her happy ever after, but ultimately, she and Noah Puckerman were endgame.

X-Factor: Quinn started off as the big baddie, but her inherent goodness and kindness won in the end.

  1. Alison DiLaurentis from Pretty Little Liars (2010-present)

Good physique: Always impeccably dressed and made up, Alison set the standard for what's pretty, what's cool, and what's acceptable.

Band of loyal followers: You know her girl gang: Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, and Emily Fields.

Her Aaron Samuels: Secret relationships were more of her thing.

X-Factor: Alison has made many enemies, but she also has the unique ability to make someone feel special and win their loyalty for life.

  1. Chanel Oberlin from Scream Queens (2015-present; catch the season finale on Tuesday!)

Good physique: Chanel continues to struggle with body issues and regularly body-shames others, but we will always remember when she finally traded cotton balls for actual, digestible food. That it was pizza was just the pepperoni on top.

Band of loyal followers: The Chanels, obvi.

Her Aaron Samuels: After the death of her fiancé, Chad Radwell, Chanel is now dating Dr. Brock Holt.

X-Factor: Chanel is blessed with the ability to take control of—and get out of—any situation.
