The Definitive List Of Taylor Swift's Besties: The 2015 Edition
It is no easy task to keep track of Taylor Swift's BFFs because girl keeps adding one to the list every minute. We made one over here last year, and now we have to update it because she's gained a ton of new besties in a year.
1 Camila Cabello
We're not sure when Tay and this Fifth Harmony member exactly started hanging out, but we were extremely touched when the "Style" hitmaker threw an 18th birthday bash for her when she found out that Camila had no plans that day.
2 Sam Smith
Sam and Tay-Tay first met when the latter wanted him to perform during the Red World Tour at the O2 Arena. After that, they've been spotted together and got really close when Sam attended Taylor's 25th birthday bash last December.
The two music legends met during this year's Grammy Awards and performed the song "Ghost Town" together at the iHeart Radio Music Awards.
4 Beyonce, Jay Z, and Justin Timberlake
We knew they all started hanging out (and talked about ~*business*~) during Taylor's 25th birthday.
The pop sensation became part of the wolf pack when MTV asked musicians on who Taylor Swift should date next. Then that was followed by a Twitter friendship and then here they are now, standing beside each other.
6 Ariana Grande
Taylor and Sam's shared love for this adorable singer's music became apparent when they danced in the front row of the American Music Awards while Ari was onstage. But even before that, Ari and Tay were already friends when they met at the backstage of last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
7 Amanda Seyfried and Kate Upton
As we all know, T-Swizzle is one of the warmest persons around. So it's no surprise that she instantly made friends with her Knicks game seatmates at the Madison Garden.
8 Jack Antonoff
Jack, Lena Dunham's boyfriend, is one of Taylor's co-producers for her album 1989. Plus, her song "You Are In Love" was actually written about Jack and Lena's relationship.
9 Jaime King
10 Martha Hunt, Gigi Hadid, and Ashley Avignone
We assume that these lovely girls might have met after being introduced to each other by Karlie Kloss or after the Victoria's Fashion Show last year where Tay-Tay performed onstage again.
11 Hayley Williams
The Paramore frontwoman has been a constant face during Taylor's major BFF moments. She'll also appear soon in her "Bad Blood" music video along with T-Swizzle's other besties.
12 Serayah McNeill and Halston Sage
Empire's Tiana and Paper Towns' Lacey were spotted in this recent squad photo posted on Tay-Tay's Instagram account.
Taylor cited the KC Undercover star as one of the girls in her Women of Tomorrow article for Glamour UK. Too cute, girls. We can't handle this anymore!
14 Kendrick Lamar
T-Swizzle dropped his name in interview last year, citing the rapper as the person she really wants to befriend. And of course, she gets her wish because Kendrick will appear in her "Bad Blood" music video.
15 Tavi Gevinson
This is one of our favorite friendships ever. The Rookie co-founder and EIC even interviewed her BFF for Elle recently.

Outdoors Danielle Flestado @artdkf | May 1, 2020 "I miss the outside world. The last time I went outside of our house was on my birthday. We just bought coffee across our village and went back home immediately. This painting made me feel that I'm in a field, just appreciating the beauty of God's creation. Can you imagine the green grass and pink flowers?"
When everything around you suddenly turns dark, the first thing we'd prolly do, as humans, is to find and grab anything that is closest and nearest to us. We'll hold onto them for as long as we can, trying to collect ourselves and gather courage to adjust our eyesights to the pitch black environment that's consuming us minute by minute. And then you'd hear nothing. Your sense of hearing would somehow go off after not seeing anything for quite awhile. You'll let loose. Cry. Panic. You'll be exhausted for fighting your way out. Then just when you're about to stop and give up, you're no longer afraid. There's only this deafening silence and pithole of darkness that's gonna eat you up alive. And surprisingly, you'll make a home out of it.
You'll make a home out of the darkness that when a ray of light suddenly hits you, you'll try to avoid it. You'll try to cover your eyes. You'll try to cover your ears from the voices trying to help you get out of it. You'll try to hide because your mind and body will go against your will to come out and live. Because the darkness that used to scare you, now comforts you in a way you thought has helped you survived life. And you'll try to live. Day by day. In the darkness. Not knowing where to go. Not knowing where to start. Not knowing who is with you. You will try to live until the darkness that once surrounds you is now within you. And everyday, it's gonna be a cycle of subtle torture. But let me tell you a secret. The darkness won't make you whole.
You'll be broken. And in those hair-like cracks, the light will stubbornly fight its way through until it warms you up. Until you realize to check the switch and turn it on. Until you allow other people to help you find your way back in the light. Until you realize you're ready to live in light again. There's a light at the end of this long and dreading tunnel. The only question that matters: will you let them in?
I always thought of life, like a bead where each piece makes it worth sewing together with other piece of beads to make a stronger bond and to create a beautiful result. Today, how do we bond well with different people especially this difficult time? As this day challenges us to a new normal, may we continue to bead along positively with our life.
