The Coolest Bedrooms on TV

Get room inspo from your favorite shows.

Thinking of redecorating your bedroom? Or are you in the middle of a room makeover? We totally get the combined stress and excitement over fixing up your sacred space. On one hand, there are so many options, but on the other, there are so. Many. Options! Just getting started can be a challenge, and once you finally do, it's not uncommon to spend hours pinning stuff on Pinterest and flipping through home magazines (yeah, we dig the tactile pinning too), before the actual shopping and redecorating begins.

You can get inspiration from everywhere, from your surroundings to your childhood obsessions to your favorite TV shows, especially if you can really relate to a specific character. Below are a few examples that may inspire you to give your room a makeover or simply add interesting new elements.

  1. Blair Waldorf's room on Gossip Girl

From the satin sheets to the Marie Antoinette painting, this room is the epitome of luxury. Queen B deserves the best, of course.

  1. Serena van der Woodsen's room on Gossip Girl

Now if you just want to spruce up a certain part of your bedroom, why not take your cue from S? We love the delicate butterflies above her bed in B’s place.

  1. Jenna Hamilton's room on Awkward

If butterflies aren't your thing, whimsical fairy lights will also do the trick.

  1. Carrie Bradshaw's room on The Carrie Diaries

Before she lived in a fabulous rent-controlled apartment in New York, Carrie spent her teenage years in a room that offered some serious girl-next-door realness. Look how cozy her study nook is!

  1. Aria Montgomery's room on Pretty Little Liars

Speaking of cozy, can’t you just picture yourself in Aria’s little nook, getting lost in a book or just staring out the window and marveling at the wonders of the world?

Brick walls instantly add character to any room. Also: hello, Instagram-ready backdrop!

  1. Clary Fray's room on Shadowhunters

Personalize your room with the most personal décor of all: your own art. It doesn’t cost much and it makes your space truly yours—it’s an all-around win-win situation.

  1. Peyton Sawyer's room on One Tree Hill

Art meets music meets feels in our favorite emo girl’s space.

  1. Summer Roberts' room on The O.C.

Haven't we all, at some point, dreamed of having a four-poster bed? We're forever in love with this whimsical piece, where Summer's beloved Princess Sparkle probably sleeps as well!
