GMA has released the teaser plug for the reality show, Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown. The show was supposed to be filmed somewhere in South America but due to budget constraints, the show will now take place in Chiang Rai in Thailand and will be hosted by Richard Gutierrez. There’s no final list of celebrity castaways yet but there have been rumors that brazilian model-turned-actor Akihiro Sato, model Ervic Vijandre, actress Michelle Madrigal, Starstruck V's Ian Batherson, teen host Mico Aytona, model Solenn Heussaff, and Aubrey Miles will be some of the participants.
Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown will air on August 30 on GMA 7.
