It's February and Valentine's Day is just a few weeks away. For those hoping to see if their crushes will reciprocate their feelings, now's your chance to shoot your shot, just like what this Twitter user did!Ā
Patricia Cortazar (@chasviste), 17 years old, shared a kilig exchange on Twitter between her and her crush of three years. Patricia decided to creatively ask her crush out in the form of a Spotify playlist. Playlists have been usedĀ in relationships for various reasons, and not just for dedicating songs to your SOs. Some peopleĀ have used it to break up with their partners (True story!) while others do so to confess to their crushes.
In Patricia's case, sheĀ sent her crush a playlist withĀ a set of songs whose titles make the sentence, "Are you free on February 14th because I want to ask you if you want to watch a movie with me."
Luckily, her crush had a positive response to her confession and said, "I think I'm free." There also seems to be no awkwardness between them after that. Through a direct message on Twitter, Patricia shared a bit of a backstory between her and her crush. "He's my been my crush for like three years and he knows that I like him that's why we're pretty close, I guess. But I still did feel nervous since after all he's still my crush. And I'm just glad that he actually responded lightly and didn't feel awkward about it."
Her tweet has since gone viral, inspiring others to follow suit and confess to their own crushes through a playlist. So if you're looking for a sign to ~finally~ tell your crush how you feel about them, this might be the sign you're looking for!Ā Ā
