Throwback: Son Ye Jin Once Said She Has High Standards in Men
ICYMI, it's been confirmed on January 1st that Crash Landing on You stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are dating IRL. The news was first exclusively reported by South Korean media outlet Dispatch and was later on confirmed by Hyun Bin's and Son Ye Jin's respective agencies.
Son Ye Jin took to Instagram to write a message to her fans after the news has been released. "Appearing in front of all of you with news about my personal life rather than work-related news for the first time, I wonder why I feel so embarrassed," Son Ye Jin writes in her caption, as per Soompi. "I’m thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I’ll work hard to tend [the relationship] with care."

Fans of the two received the dating news positively. The two are considered top actors in South Korea and displayed amazing chemistry during their time together on CLOY. Many fans were happy that their K-drama ship has sailed in real life.Â
Son Ye Jin had an interview in 2007 where she was asked why she did not have a boyfriend. The interview was brought up years later during Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's guest appearance on KBS' Entertainment Weekly for their movie The Negotiation.Â
For someone who's pretty and talented, the interviewer can't help but wonder why Son Ye Jin was single. In the interview, she simply laughed it off and said that it's because she has high standards! Now we know that Hyun Bin fits Son Ye Jin's standards perfectly.Â
Hyun Bin is one of the highest paid actors in South Korea, just behind Kim Soo Hyun. Son Ye Jin's reported net worth is also quite a number, seeing as she's an award-winning actress and a sought-after endorser.
