Sofia Andres, Daniel Miranda Not In A Rush To Get Married After Having A Baby
ICYMI, Sofia gave birth to a healthy baby girl in Australia on November 24, 2019, and she announced the news via her Instagram on Father's Day, June 21.
Their baby, whom they named Zoe, is now seven months old.
“For now, we’re taking it slow," Sofia says in her interview with MJ Felipe for ABS-CBN News on June 22.
“Kasi ayaw namin mangyari yung mga... alam mo yung, ayaw naming nagmamadali.
“Kasi minsan, di ba, pag aggressive o impulsive, may mga nangyayaring hindi maganda.
“So, gusto namin ngayon, i-establish pa yung relationship namin. Mas makilala pa yung isa’t isa.
"At siyempre, iba yung pag may lumalaki na bata, 'no, tsaka yung bonding and all that.”
But Sofia is confident that she and her long-time boyfriend will eventually get there, especially after everything they've been through in their four years as a couple.
“Ayaw namin ngayon na bigla na lang, ‘Sige na, ito na, pakasal na,’ parang hindi pa namin naiisip," said the actress.
“Pero we’re gonna get there.
“Mahirap lang kasi ngayon na may mga priorities din.
“Gusto ko matapos muna niya ang pag-aaral niya at ako gusto ko magtrabaho ulit.”
Aside from finishing his studies, DAniel is also an international race car driver.
Meanwhile, Sofia had to take a break from showbiz due to her pregnancy.
Sofia at Daniel have been together for four years. So, how did they meet?
According to Sofia, they met at a party in a club in Bonifacio Global City.
“May biglang lumapit sa akin na lalaki, sabi niya, ‘Hi, what’s your name? My cousin finds you so pretty.’
“And I said, ‘I’m Sofia, and who’s your cousin?’
“And then, siya [Daniel] pala, siya pala yung nagpapatanong.
"Kumbaga, hindi siya marunong, sobrang torpe niya, e.
“So, nagpa-picture siya sa akin and inalok niya ako ng tubig.
“So, sabi ko, ‘Bakit ako aalukin ng tubig sa club?’
“So, sabi ko, ‘Hmp,’ cute naman siya.”
Before parting ways that night, Daniel apprarently asked for her mobile number, which Sofia gave.
“Tapos, tinext niya ako the next day. Ayun na, dun na nag-start," told Sofia.
The rest, as we all know, is history.
