Knowing that I watched way too many shows, the Candy team once asked me to list down all of them and I came up with 33 current shows, 11 on break, and 4 on my wish list if I ever got the time. Three years later, the list has grown (just a bit because I've learned the value of self-control. Sort of.): 23 current shows, 28 on break, and 3 for future viewing. That's a LOT of shows for one girl, but it's good, clean fun and I bet some of you can absolutely relate!
You have a Word or Excel file to keep track of all your shows. This is serious business, you guys.
A good chunk of your weekend is spent catching up on everything you missed because of real life.
You have different Viber groups based on who watches what so you can immediately talk to your friends about the latest episode. But you all make sure that everyone's seen it already—no spoilers allowed!
You always have something to talk about with everyone. Even if your new seatmate doesn't watch a lot of TV, chances are, you share the same love for Lizzie McGuire or Hey Arnold!
You have shows you watch religiously, shows you watch when you're doing chores, and shows you watch when you need something to put you to sleep.
Is Jane the Virgin as good as everyone says it is? What's something both my boyfriend and I will enjoy? What show is this actress from? You're the first person your friends ask about all things TV.
You treat your favorite shows as a prize. If I finish reviewing for geog, I can watch one episode of iZombie!
You mix up shows sometimes, like The Royals and Reign. Cute guys, great clothes, crazy moms—it's an honest mistake anyone can make, right?
Recaps and shows like Talking Dead are the warm hug you seek after watching a particularly intense episode.
You don't know whether to love or hate Netflix. Releasing all 13 episodes of Daredevil in one go—are they trying to kill you???
You get a kick out of recognizing familiar faces. Isn't Skye/Daisy's mom on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. the same girl with the cheekbones that could kill on The 100 and Shameless? Yes, it is!
You regularly check websites like EW.com, TVLine, and Deadline to see if your favorite shows get renewed for another season and to see which new shows are worth watching.
When you find someone who shares your passion for TV shows, you immediately become BFFs with them.
It's not easy for you to give up on shows gone bad. You've invested 10 hours of your life already—what's a few more?
But when you do give up on something, there's no going back.
When you find a show that goes straight to your #1 spot, you make all of your friends watch it. All of them!
