For the first time ever, Seventeen magazine has featured a reader on their cover. Zoë Damacela, a 19-year-old fashion designer and winner of MTV's Pretty Amazing TV special, is all smiles on the cover of Seventeen's October 2011 issue.

Zoë overcame a tough childhood—she and her mom were homeless during certain periods—and she now studies at Northwestern University in Illinois while running her five-year-old business, Zoë Damacela Apparel. Supermodel and TV host Tyra Banks has worn one of her pieces and Zoë has met US President Barack Obama. Pretty amazing indeed!
