SDTG Update: KathNiel To Begin Working On the Movie Tomorrow

She's Dating the Gangster is really coming!

After their successful primetime series Got To Believe, teen king and queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are prepping up to shoot for the movie adaptation of She's Dating the Gangster.

Based on Bianca Bernardino's novel first seen here on Candymag.com, SDTG had its story conference earlier at Star Cinema's HQ. They will also be having their first shooting day tomorrow!

Wait, whut?! Yes, girls, you read that right. And there's more! If you think that what's in the book is everything you'll see in the movie, you're definitely wrong. The movie adaptation of SDTG will also give you twists and surprises. Not to worry, though, because Bianca approves—what with veteran rom-com director Cathy Garcia Molina telling the story.

No release date was announced yet, but it will definitely be shown in theaters this year.

"Tuloy na tuloy na po," says Daniel.

"And you can expect more from the book," Kathryn adds.
