When you hear of Ben&Ben, chances are, you'd probably be able to name at least one song from them. As one of the most popular bands locally and even internationally (even K-pop idols ~love~ their songs), it's likely that you've heard their feels-y songs play on the radio.

Whether or not you've been ~in love~, you've probably heard of one of their songs called "Pagtingin". Even though not everyone can personally relate to the mahugot lyrics of the hit song, it's something that's easy to listen to.

If you're a fan of the song, then you need to check out this retro rendition of it. Angelo Neal Salud, a 21-year-old first year student majoring in Music, made an '80s-inspired cover of the popular Ben&Ben track.

"Madami akong napapanood na retro renditions ng international songs sa YouTube," shares Angelo. "Dahil mahilig ako makinig ng '80s music since five years old pa ako, naisip ko na ba't 'di rin kaya ako gumawa ng sa OPM naman, kasi halos wala pa gumagawa dito sa Pinas e, at malawak na rin naman ang knowledge ko sa '80s music kasi 'yun ang kinalakihan ko."

Angelo made the arrangement, the vocals are by Jennifer Adao, while the guitar solo is performed by Ian Isaac Tan. It even has a vintage-inspired music video to match the vibes and has now reached more than 20,000 reactions on Facebook.

On why he chose "Pagtingin" when he decided to make a retro version, Angelo shares, "Kasi nakitaan ko ng potential maging '80s version dahil sa tempo, riffs, melody, at drumbeat niya."
