ABS-CBN Entertainment’s Pira-Pirasong Paraiso is going to be a series of firsts! ICYMI, the teleserye marks the first collaboration between ABS-CBN Entertainment and TV5. It is also the first teleserye of Gen Z love team KDLex, aka KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad.

1. It is filled with thrilling themes
The trailer of Pira-Pirasong Paraiso is laden with excitement and mystery. Throughout the one minute clip, we hear intriguing lines such as “Once you play the game of lies, makakadiskarte ba ang puso?” and “Sa mundo ng tagu-taguan, makikita kaya ang piraso ng katotohanan?” This intermingling of love, secrets, and lies is giving us Pretty Little Liars vibes, and we are all here for it!
2. It features an all-star cast
The trailer boasts of featuring the next generation of leading women and men, and they're definitely not exaggerating! ICYDK, most of the cast members are actually no strangers to the world of drama acting.
Alexa is most notable for her role as Bobbie Salazar in the 2020 hit movie, Four Sisters Before the Wedding. Charlie Dizon, who starred in the same film as Alexa, will also be a lead in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
Elisse Joson, another notable Pira-Pirasong Paraiso star, was also casted with Alexa in Luv U (2012). Elisse has also appeared in the Filipino TV series The Good Son (2017). Similarly, Loisa Andalio had been featured in the same show and is now a main character in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
For the male stars, Ronnie Alonte has starred in romance-comedies Vince and Kath and James (2016) and A Love to Last (2017). Joseph Marco is an ABS-CBN star whose most memorable role is as Diego Torillo in the drama series Wildflower (2017). Meanwhile, although KD Estrada is best known for his music, he also has memorable roles in Unloving U (2021) and Bola Bola (2022).
3. It is love team galore
No teleserye is complete without love teams, and Pira-Pirasong Paraiso knows how to deliver! The series features two amazing Gen Z love teams, namely LoiNie and KDLex.
LoiNie were first teased together on It’s Showtime. As of today, they have been a couple for six years, with their most recent work being James and Pat and Dave (2022). Pira-Pirasong Paraiso is their first major project for 2023.
Similarly, KDLex were teased together when they became close Pinoy Big Brother Season 10. After they show, they performed songs together and even acted in a digital romance series, Run to You (2022). Pira-Pirasong Paraiso marks their first teleserye together!
While we are unsure of the exact relationships between their characters in Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, we’re sure that the actors and actresses have the chemistry to work magic!
4. It is being handled by a stellar director and producer
The show will be produced by the unforgettable Dreamscape Entertainment. They have been known for their excellent work in Doble Kara, Kadenang Ginto, and Love Thy Woman. If that isn’t enough to convince you to watch, the director is Raymund B. Ocampo, the legend behind the intense drama series Wildflower.
There is no doubt Pira-Pirasong Paraiso is going to leave its mark in the world of teleserye. There is not much information yet on when and where to watch, so stay tuned for the deets!
