The Korean wave has hit the international entertainment industry hard. The critically-acclaimed South Korean thriller, Parasite, just made history as the first-ever non-English film to win Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards (and took home four Oscars in total)! The spotlight is on Parasite, and one *major* thing we just found out is that two of its cast members are also in everyone's current K-drama obsession, Crash Landing On You. Everyone, meet Jang Hye Jin and Park Myung Hoon!

Jang Hye Jin

In Parasite, the seasoned actress played the Kim family matriarch who ~infiltrated~ the Park household as their new housekeeper. But did you know that Jang Hye Jin also plays Seo Dan's (Seo Ji Hye) feisty, English-speaking mother in CLOY? I swear, once you rewatch her scenes, you'll go, "Oo nga, no!" Apart from Parasite, Hye Jin was also in the 2019 film Family Affair.

Park Myung Hoon

Character actor Park Myung Hoon gave a terrifying performance as the basement-dwelling husband of the Park family's old housekeeper. (His scenes still give me the chills, TBH!) In CLOY, though, he plays a waaay more light-hearted role and gives major LOLs as Seo Dan's uncle! Yup, he and Hye Jin play siblings in CLOY.
