You guys are pretty lucky to live in the age of Twitter and Instagram. You can get a retweet, a favorite, and a like from your favorite celebrities just by the simple act of mentioning/tagging them! Back then, we'd have to rely on fan mail (which probably wasn't really written by them, anyway) and getting our relatives in the US to record TV shows and award shows and send us tapes (whoops, didn't mean to sound centuries-old). But thanks to Candy, we've actually had some pretty awesome fan girl moments. We'd love to hear about yours too! Don't forget to share them in the comments below or through Twitter @candymagdotcom!
"Meeting Joe Jonas last year. <3 At the end of the interview, I made him laugh when I accidentally played an audio file of my nephew singing Happy Birthday!" —Marla, Editor In Chief
"Being able to watch Bigbang, it was a super fun concert and a K-pop dream come true for me!" —Steph, Art Director
"My best fangirl moment was interviewing Dan Radcliffe over the phone because I am the biggest Harry Potter fan! Meeting Taylor Lautner was another favorite moment because I have always been on Team Jacob and I actually got to talk to him in person. :)" —Angel, Managing Editor
"The best was when I met and interviewed Darren Criss a few years ago. The latest was when Emma Watson RT-ed my tweet about The Perks of Being a Wallflower!" —Dyan, Entertainment and Features Editor
"I just got to meet the singer from one of my fave bands, Betheny Cosentino of Best Coast. She's so cool. She's influenced by a lot of the things that I grew up on like The Simpsons, Clueless, etc... and it reflects in the way she writes and in her personal style. I really look up to her." —Sam, Associate Fashion Editor
"I've been obsessed with well-groomed brows lately, which is why I've been fangirling over Divine Lee and her funny tutorials. So, you can just imagine how kilig I felt when she told me she liked my brows when I met her at a beach party. Yay for me!" —Erin, Web Fashion and Beauty Assistant
