Our 7 Favorite Moments From The 40th People's Choice Awards
2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs hosted this year's People’s Choice Awards. They did a great job and cracked pretty good jokes. They even served burgers and fries to the audience, starting out with country singer Brad Paisley and TV host Heidi Klum. How cool is that?
One of the show's performers Sara Bareilles sang a fresh new version of her chart-topping single "Brave," a song from her album The Blessed Unrest which was nominated as Album of the Year in this year’s Grammy Awards. Watch her performance here.
Television host Ellen Degeneres took home her 14th crystal statuette as the people’s Favorite Daytime TV Host. That’s a lot, isn’t it? Congratulations, Ellen!
Meanwhile, pop princess Britney Spears won her first People’s Choice Award as Favorite Pop Artist. She was surprised, but we weren't. Britney deserves it!
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder took home the award for Favorite On-Screen Chemistry for their roles as Elena and Damon in the TV series The Vampire Diaries. Things got a little awkward during their acceptance speech when they talked about their onscreen and off-screen relationships. But it ended well because Ian planted a big kiss on Nina's cheek. We're still hoping they'd get back together! *sigh*
It was a good week for Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale with the release of her single "You Sound Good To Me" and PLL going back on air. To add to that, Lucy took home the award for Favorite Cable TV Actress, too!
Glee's Naya Rivera dyed her hair blonde and she looked stunning! Naya and Lea Michele won the award for Favorite TV Gal Pals for their roles as Santana and Rachel in Glee.
Speaking of Glee, Chris Colfer also won his second Favorite TV Comedic Actor award for playing Kurt in the TV show. We totally love his cute victory dance video with his cat after the People's Choice Awards!
