Nina Dobrev Joins the Cast of The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Vampire Diaries star joins Emma Watson and Logan Lerman in the film adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Deadline reports that The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev will be part of Summit Entertainment's The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Playing the two leads are Logan Lerman as Charlie and Emma Watson as Sam. Nina will be portraying the role of Candace, Charlie's older sister. Though hers might not be a leading role, her character has a big impact on Charlie. Mae Whitman (Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Parenthood) has also been cast as Mary Alice, the first girl that Charlie dates.
