Local music was definitely alive and kicking at the Y! Rocks concert held last week at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Featuring an impressive roster of popular acts, the concert also showcased the talents of up-and-coming artists from Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao, namely White Sunday, Ma. Laurice Jamero, Penguin, Stereo Deal, Stories of Now, Yield Avenue, Indios, Jeepney Joyride, Row Four, Paranoid City, FOC Fashion, and Highway Drive.

We got to chat with three of the 12 breakthrough acts: Row Four from Novaliches, Yield Avenue from Laguna, and Stories of Now from Makati. Find out how they got started, where they get inspiration, and what their music is all about!
