ICYMI, the hit series He’s Into Her kickstarted production for its second season last month. In preparation for the show’s second run this April, iWantTFC held a Global Assembly on March 19—the same day that the official trailer came out.
Most of the original cast members confirmed their return during the media conference, but we also spotted some fresh faces among the group! There are eight of them in total, so here’s all the latest info we have on the new cast members and the roles they’ll be playing.
1. Reich Alim
Reich will be playing Rhumzell, the sister of Randall Echavez. Notably, Reich has already worked with Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano when she played Jam in Love is Color Blind.
2. Rajo Serrano
Rajo shared that his character will join Kim’s inner circle as a “fiercely loyal” friend. While this is Rajo’s first-ever acting gig, the young artist has gained a YouTube following for his R&B music covers.
3. Shanaia Gomez
Shanaia didn’t reveal much about her role, simply hinting that she will be a fellow character’s love interest who causes “interesting plot twists.” And if you’re a reality TV fan, you’d recognize Shanaia for her past stints in Idol Philippines and PBB.
4. Mikha Lim
Mikha also refused to spill the deets of her character, but we hear Maxpein refer to her as “Elle” in the trailer. And yes—this Mikha is the same singer and rapper of the girl group BINI.
5. CJ Salonga
CJ claimed that he will be one of the new team members of the Southbay Sharks. Prior to this, the Rise Studio Artists talent has appeared in rom-com movies Princess Dayareese and James & Pat & Dave.
6. River Joseph
Like CJ, River will be joining Randall as a Southbay Sharks player. Apart from being the business owner of eco-friendly company Cassa, River has also acted in various television commercials before. He even used to be a Candy Rookie!
7. Zach Castañeda
Although Zach couldn’t attend the conference, we spotted his character dancing alongside Naih and Lee in the trailer. The former Kapuso star worked on TV series Meant to Be and Impostora under his previous network.
8. JC Alcantara
Unfortunately, JC was also absent from the conference due to a personal emergency. But the Hello Stranger lead was actually one of the special guests in the Benison Ball last year!
