While business has been booming for Netflix ever since the pandemic forced the whole world indoors, it looks like the streaming giant has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. In a bid to attract more subscribers, they recently launched a Watch Free library.
What is it exactly? Just as the name says, curious viewers with no Netflix subscription can now watch content from the platform for free. "Netflix is the premiere destination for all your entertainment needs," the website reads. "But don't take our word for it–check out some of our favorite movies and TV shows, absolutely free."
Available movies and TV shows are limited of course, but fret not because non-subscribers can sample some of the best Netflix has to offer. They currently have 10 TV shows and movies on the list, namely: Stranger Things, Murder Mystery, Elite, Boss Baby, Bird Box, When They See Us, Love is Blind, The Two Popes, Our Planet, and Grace and Frankie.
Keep in mind though that the free watching experience is still leagues different from actually having a paid subscription. For one, you'll have to settle for basic quality instead of high definition videos. While you can watch the movies in full, it seems the free TV series are only limited to their first episodes.
Then again, it's a good way to start if you've seriously been debating whether to finally get that subscription or not.

Note: the feature is only available on web browsers, and not on the iOS or Andriod apps.
