Cool! NASA Used This Pinay Musician’s Song In Their Promo Video
In case you missed it, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), aka the US space agency, is about to launch two astronauts on board the SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft for the first crewed mission to the International Space Station since 2011. To anticipate the launch on May 27 with the rest of the human race, the space agency posted a promo video on Twitter asking everyone to share how they’re feeling about the exciting new launch, as seen below:
And if you’re wondering why the song and the singer in the video sounds a bit familiar, it’s because the track they used is by none other than Filipino singer-songwriter Reese Lansangan! The song is called “A Song About Space”—how very fitting!—and it’s from Reese’s 2016 album Arigato, Internet!
