When it comes to romantic relationships, we'd often look to our friends for some much-needed second opinion. When we're "blinded" by love, it helps to have an emotionally mature friend to offer you helpful insights about dealing with relationships.

Ever wondered what kind of relationship advice you'd get from Nadine if she was your friend? In a guest appearance on Monster RX93.1, Nadine got to talk about all sorts of things, including some relationship real talk.

Nadine confessed that she's given out a lot of love advice to her friends. When asked to share a particular advice she's shared with a friend, Nadine gave some pretty sensible words of wisdom that anyone in a relationship should totally hear.

Nadine's main advice is to remember that being in a relationship doesn't mean you close off or limit yourself to that relationship alone. "Give yourself space. Allow yourself to experience things na kahit ikaw lang," shares Nadine. "When you're in a relationship, you tend to make sure that your partner is always with you. You don't watch a movie without them, you don't go to this restaurant that you've been wanting to go to without them, they always have to go with you. If they're not free you're not gonna go. I know a lot of people who are like that. That's normal naman and that's understandable, but at the same time, you have to allow yourself to grow and to experience new things.

"We can grow with our partners but we also have to grow on our own," Nadine concludes. But what happens if you outgrow each other in the process of growing on your own? Well, Nadine believes that what's meant for you will really be for you, so even if you grow separately, you'll find a way to respect each other's growth.

Aside from relationship advice, Nadine also got the share how much she's grown during quarantine, which is apparent in her upcoming music release Wildest Dreams. In an interview with Rappler, Nadine shares that her upcoming album is a "journey through introspection" and that it involves a huge part of her personal life, including her mental health and her family.
