After five years of juggling her showbiz career and her studies, ABS-CBN star Michelle Vito is finally graduating from college! The 23-year-old actress studied Human Resource Management at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
In a post on Instagram, Michelle shared a glimpse of what her life was like as a working student. "I’ll never forget my struggles in hard classes, mga puyat, and my cramming mode," Michelle says. Depsite rushing to school right after her tapings, Michelle has also had her fair share of the ultimate college experience, including "long breaks, kain sa cafeteria and around Taft, the feeling of being in a classroom, school activities," and even all-nighters and cramming.
One thing she wasn't able to experience, however, was "a grand graduation ceremony" because of COVID-19, but Michelle remains thankful for how her college experience turned out nonetheless. "My college life is not only about graduating, getting my diploma, and having a degree but also about the unforgettable and irreplaceable experiences in between," she says. "Even though I’ve dreamed and waited for that moment for many years, the current situation taught me to be content and grateful for what we have at the moment."
She also expressed her gratitude to the people who extended a helping hand to her throughout her college life, including her family, friends, schoolmates, and professors.
Close friends of Michelle can also attest to how hardworking she was in simultaneously pursuing a college education and a showbiz career. Fellow actresses Barbie Imperial, Sue Ramirez, and Liza Soberano also congratulated Michelle in her new milestone. "Kahit nasa taping sobrang focused talaga sa pag-aaral," Barbie says in an Instagram Story.
Michelle's boyfriend, actor Enzo Pineda, also shared how proud he is of her through an Instagram post. "Keep on striving in achieving your goals. Anything is possible if you put your heart into it. ILYSM," Enzo writes.
Michelle is currently starring in the drama series Bagong Umaga alongside Barbie Imperial, Heaven Peralejo, Tony Labrusca, Kiko Estrada, and Yves Flores. She previously acted in teleseryes like La Luna Sangre, Aryana, and Luv U.
