Meteor Garden Returns On Philippine TV

Are you excited to watch F4 again?

This good news spread online a few days ago.

Like most netizens, our fangirl hearts squealed with delight! Remember when we sang the soundtrack of this show even though we barely understood what they meant? Or when we grew our hair long because we wanted to channel our inner Shan Cai every day? Or those moments when we had a difficult time deciding who among the F4 guys we should date: Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, or Me Zhuo?

The series that started the Asian craze in the country returns on Philippine TV on March 31. If you haven't watched the show yet, but you're thinking twice whether you should watch it this vacay or not, here are a few reasons why we think you should.

  1. F4, probably the most popular Asian boyband, stars in this Taiwanese drama. Formed in 2001 after the success of Meteor Garden, F4 is made up of the handsome and talented dudes Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou, and Ken Chu.

  3. Shan Cai, played by Barbie Hsu, is not your typical damsel in distress. She actually fights back. We always loved those moments when she tries to give Dao a difficult time.

  5. That dilemma of choosing between Dao and Lei on who deserves Shan Cai more. Dao can really be a jerk sometimes, while Lei is the better man. It's pretty much like Damon-Elena-Stefan love triangle in The Vampire Diaries. Both guys are good-looking and both of them have their own strengths, so it's really difficult to choose between the two.

We could go on and on about the reasons why you should watch Meteor Garden, but it's better that you see for yourselves.
