At 8 p.m. on January 5, Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson officially introduced their baby boy, Jude Trevor Paterson, to the world.
In a sweet and intimate video titled Hey, Jude, the showbiz couple showed snippets of Janella's pregnancy journey (filled with ultrasounds, yoga classes, and more), up until the birth of Jude.
"If I'm going to be honest, I was quite nervous about this day because I know how harsh the world can be.
"If your dad and I could have you all to ourselves forever, we would, but that would be selfish. You're too precious to not be shared," Janella narrates in the vlog. Watch the full video here:
Jude was born on October 20, a little over a month after Janella flew to the UK where she and her mom, Jenine Desiderio, spent the last months with Markus' family.
As shown in the video, Janella and Markus found out they were going to be parents in February. They discovered they were going to have a boy in May.Â
Prior to the pregnancy rumors, Janella and Markus were pretty ~low-key~ about their relationship, and only made it Insta-official in September 2020.
