Meaghan Jette Martin, who was part of 10 Things I Hate About You and Camp Rock, talks to Celebrity Teen Scoop about how she got into acting, her advice for aspiring actors as well as teens who are constantly trying to fit in.

After dipping her toes into the showbiz pool doing commercials, the Disney star went back to school before moving to LA to pursue an acting career. Her advice for those who want to get into acting? "First, you have to make sure that it's what you really want; it's not an easy path and a lot of people will try to discourage you. If it's what you see yourself doing, then train and get yourself out there! Don't let anyone get you down!"

As an actress who's used to playing teens struggling to fit in, she has this to say to people going through the same thing, "I think it's really hard to be a teen these days. There are so many scary things that go along with the Internet. However, I think the best advice has been around for decades: Treat others the way you want to be treated and believe in yourself."
