Thai movie star Mario Maurer shared his love for the Philippines and skateboarding at the recently concluded Kilig Fest Christmas Special. During the online event, host VJ Utt asked the 33-year-old actor what makes the Philippines so special to him.
"[The] Philippines is [a] very beautiful country with all of the many, many islands there. And, I think it’s the people. I think the Philippine people have very good hospitality and they’re very nice people. [I'm] Very happy to be around them," he replied.

Mario was also asked by the host: "What other projects are you looking to do in the Philippines?"
"Other projects I’m looking forward to doing [in the Philippines] is, I think, more [movies]. You know I did one—Suddenly It’s Magic—and it's a great, great experience for me working with the Filipino team."

"I would like to go back there again and do some more dramas or maybe another movie," he added.
ICYDK, Suddenly It’s Magic was Mario's 2012 Star Cinema movie where he starred alongside Erich Gonzales. It was a box-office success, raking in more than P97 million pesos during its run.
