By now, the internet is well aware that Lyca Gairanod celebrates her birthday on November 21, thanks to that iconic interaction with her fellow Scorpio and ka-birthday, journalist Karen Davila. In preparation for her 17th birthday, the The Voice Kids winner had a stunning photoshoot that shows just how grown-up she's gotten since her early days in the industry!
For one layout of her birthday photoshoot, Lyca was the perfect balance between youthful and fierce as she posed in pastel-hued pieces and a matching lavender eye look.Â
In another layout, Lyca is all glammed up in white with a permed updo against an emerald green backdrop, depicting just how far she's come from her younger days in The Voice Kids. Another look shows Lyca in a low poinytail and a classy all-white off-shoulder number.
Lastly, Lyca wore a denim piece styled with silver chains and sparkly thigh-high boots showing off her undeniable star power. Â
Lyca's birthday photos were shot by fellow The Voice alum and budding photographer Jason Dy. The outfits were styled by Myrrh Lao To, and hair and makeup were done by Mycke Arcano and Angeline Dela Cruz, respectively.
ICYDK, Lyca grew up in Tanza, Cavite before joining the first ever edition of The Voice Kids under Coach Sarah Geronimo's team. She eventually ended the competition as the grand winner, scoring a recording deal with MCA Music, a P1 million prize, and a house and lot. Under MCA Music, Lyca released her first album entitled Puede Nang Mangarap.
Now, you'll often find Lyca being her fun and bubbly self on YouTube with her own channel, which has a whopping 1.8 million subscribers!
