'Yung totoo, you may have been swimming in a lot of school projects and exams, but that surely didn't stop you from binge-watching CLOYÂ down to its last episode or streaming our favorite K-pop group's new MV.
As the popularity of K-dramas and K-pop boomed in the country, so did the interest to learn about the Korean language. We can survive off of subtitles and translations, but it’s still quite different when you can actually understand what your favorite Korean stars are saying in that repeat-worthy K-pop song or during those emotional scenes from your all-time favorite K-drama.Â
Luckily for students of Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) - Manila, the school’s International Affairs Office decided to offer Korean Language classes—for FREE. If you've got some free time, classes will happen every Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., starting on March 5, 2020. Just drop by the International Affairs Office to register!
If you’re not an LPU student, no worries! Ateneo de Manila University's Korean Studies Program is also offering a Korean Language course that’s open to everyone. Check it out here.
