Love Analyzing K-Dramas? It's Now An Elective in UP Diliman

K-dramas are fun to watch, but analyzing the little details, characters arcs, and talking about your theories with fellow fans are what makes the experience even more stimulating. And let's face it, mas madali minsan magpuyat for Viu or Netflix compared to school requirements (huhu).
If you're from UP Diliman though, good news: You'll finally be able to flex those hallyu brain cells for acads! BC 196 Special Topics: Analysis of K-Drama Series is a new elective under the College of Mass Communication.
Students enrolled in the class will be required to watch the following:
Crash Landing on You
Chicago Typewriter
Misaeng
The class will be limited to 20 students only, but here's to hoping they make special sessions available for fans who just really want to engage in interesting discussions about their fave shows.
It's exciting to see schools incorporate courses that really capture the interests of students. Recently, La Salle went viral for offering a Mobile Legends PE class, and in February 2020, the Ateneo Korean Studies Program opened up a course called Hallyu Korean 1: Learning Korean Language through K-pop & K-Drama.
