Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette Have Broken Up
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemates Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette have broken up. Andre officially announced their split with an Instagram post, expressing his sadness over the breakup.
Andre states that the reason for their mutual breakup is that they are "going on different journeys," and that their attempts to make it work were not successful. The two were in a long-distance relationship during the latter part of 2020 when Andre flew back to his hometown in Hawaii at the height of the pandemic, while Lou remained in the Philippines.
In his post, Andre assures fans that it was an amicable split and that the two will remain friends.

His full statement reads:
"I'm saddened to say this but recently, Lou and I have come to a mutual understanding to move on from being a couple. We realize we're going on different journeys in our lives and no matter how hard we tried to make it work, it wasn't meant to be.
"The truth is we care for each other and always will. She is such a big part of my life, and I am ultimately so thankful to God to have her in my life. She is my best friend and I will always support her. Thank you to everyone for being so supportive to us along the way. We really did try our best, and it saddens us for it to come to this realization.
Your love and support helped us keep going countless times. We owe it to you guys to be honest about this. We love you all dearly, we don't want you to be sad. We still be in each other's lives forever as friends."

While Lou has yet to make her own statement, she commented on Andre's post with a heart emoji and shared the said post on her Instagram Stories.
The two met during their stay at the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2018 and eventually formed a romantic relationship after they exited. Andre was Lou's first boyfriend. They were part of the show's eighth season and were part of the final four adult housemates together with Yamyam Gucong and Fumiya Sankai. Andre was the Fourth Big Placer with Lou bagged the Third Big Placer spot.
