Pinoy Big Brother: Otso was the final season of the popular reality game show. And just from that batch alone, the public has met all sorts of personalities that rose to fame after their exit from the house--including housemate Lou Yanong

Even when she was still inside Bahay ni Kuya, Lou was already the talk of the town online and for all sorts of reasons. Despite that, there are still a lot of misconceptions about the reality TV star.

From her family life to her passions and interests, here are other things to know about Lou Yanong:

Lou is on the cusp of Millennial and Gen Z.

Lou's full name is Lourdes Grace Yanong and she was born on March 13, 1997. She has two sisters and is the middle child. She graduated from MINT College in 2019 where she took up Entrepreneurial Management.

Lou was part of PBB’s Big Four.

Lou joined PBB's eighth season, Pinoy Big Brother: Otso. After several weeks, she became part of the final four adult housemates along with Andre Brouillette, Yamyam Gucong, and Fumiya Sankai. Lou ended up as the 3rd Big Placer of the season.

Lou is dating co-housemate Andre Brouillette.

Andre Brouillette, Lou's fellow housemate, is her first boyfriend (Lou is NBSB!). Lou's first Lou and Andre grew close to each other while they were inside the PBB house, which eventually led to them officially dating before the season ended.

They were met with a lot of backlash and criticisms online for how their relationship unfolded in front of the public's eye, especially for their controversial kissing on national TV, which happened before they were ~officially~ dating each other. The two, however, faced the issues head on and apologized to their fellow housemates and the public for "not setting a good example." In April 2020, Lou and Andre celebrated their 13th month of being together.

Before joining PBB, Lou has already been modeling.

Lou jumpstarted her modeling career when she was only seven years old because of her sister Nikki. She stopped when she turned 12 because, according to Lou, she was getting too tall and was failing her exams. Three years later, she decided to go back to modeling. She’s part of Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) where she was a junior board member. Runway walks, casting calls, and six-inch heels have been a huge part of Lou's life before and after becoming a PBB housemate.

Lou is artistic.

Not many may know this about her, but Lou is actually talented when it comes to art. One thing that surprised Andre about Lou was how artistic she actually was after seeing all the paintings she had made from before. You'll spot a few hanging around her home whenever she posts on Instagram:

In a video where she addressed assumptions of her fans about her, Lou shared a comment that said she's someone who never failed a subject in college. But she clarified and said, "Ganito po kasi 'yan. Humuhugot po ako ng scores sa mga art projects," which probably means that your art has to be admirable enough to pull your grades up enough to pass.

Lou's loved ones describe her as caring and loving.

In an interview for PBB, Lou's older sister Nikki Yanong-Benson appeared together with Lou's best friend and fellow model Jach Manere to talk about their relationship with the model-housemate. Nikki described Lou as "caring and loving," someone who just gives off good and positive vibes whenever she's around you.

Jach described her best friend as the sweetest. She also pointed out that she gets along with Lou because they share the same personality. Lou is someone who has a pretty face but is "napaka-kenkoy."

Lou isn't afraid to speak her mind.

Aside from being an overall sweet person, Lou's sister and best friend also shared that she is someone who is vocal about her thoughts. "'Pag may gusto siyang sabihin, sasabihin talaga niya. Kung ano nafe-feel niya, sasabihin niya rin talaga," they share. Lou officially began vlogging after exiting Bahay ni Kuya and through her vlogs, she's also able to show off her personality, speak her mind, and clarify the most common misconceptions of people about her.
