After the worldwide success of The Fault In Our Stars and an announcement that Nat Wolff will be starring in the movie adaptation of Paper Towns, another one of John Green's books is being developed for the big screen—the author's debut novel, Looking For Alaska!
John made the big announcement on his Twitter account a few minutes ago:
So excited to announce that the brilliant filmmaker Sarah Polley will be writing and directing a film adaptation of Looking for Alaska.

I'm a HUGE fan of Sarah's movies, and her ideas about Looking for Alaska are really wonderful, and I am SO VERY EXCITED.

In case you didn't know, Sarah Polley directed critically-acclaimed films like Take This Waltz and Away From Her. So we're confident that the book is in good hands.
Looking For Alaska chronicles the life of 16-year-old Miles Halter, who moves to a boarding school and learns important lessons about life and love from his beautiful and mysterious best friend, Alaska Young.
