It’s always a refreshing sight to see Gen Z stars making a name for themselves not just as actors and performers, but as entrepreneurs as well. Case in point: reel-to-real-life sweethearts Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte, who recently invested their joint savings to start a business together.
In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), the couple shared why they chose to start a coffee shop together.
“Kami ni Ronnie, may sarili na po kaming savings. Meron na kaming savings account sa bangko. Doon na siya pumapasok. Maganda yung nakakapag-ipon-ipon. At para pag magta-travel kami, doon na lang namin kukunin. Pang-travel, pangkain, pang-labas-labas,” says Loisa.
Ronnie continued, “Ito yung mas tuluy-tuloy kesa sa showbiz na kapag wala kang ginawa, eh hindi umaandar yung income mo. Hindi umiikot. So ito yung laging umaaandar kahit wala kaming work,” recalling their financial struggles when they lost projects due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
