Logan Lerman is all grown up now in his new movie, Fury. Set at the end of World War II, the film is about Sgt. Wardaddy (yep, Wardaddy!) and his five-man team's efforts to face an army of 300 in Nazi Germany. Logan plays newbie Norman who's completely unprepared and having a major earth-swallow-me-now moment.

He's forced to adapt and get his hands dirty, growing under the guidance of Wardaddy, played by Brad Pitt. Logan says, "For actors my age, there are a lot of simple characters out there. Norman, on the other hand, was very complicated and stressful to think about. It seemed like a challenge—it was a great role, a great story, and I’d have the chance to work with a lot of people that I admire... It was one of the most creatively satisfying work I've ever been fortunate enough to be a part of."

In a way, Norman's story arc in Fury has a similar coming-of-age vibe as Logan's other movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and the Percy Jackson series. Just goes to show that no matter where—or when—you are, growing up can be a pain in the butt, yet necessary and even rewarding in the long run.
