Content creation nowadays has become a full-blown career. You can earn a considerable amount of income (coupled with the necessary amount of hustle, of course) while living out your creative pursuits. Many of today's top content creators, however, started out with a completely different job. After realizing their potential in content creation, some have even decided to leave behind their old professions and start a new career journey. 

Camille Co

Prior to becoming a full-time content creator, Camille Co owned a clothing line called Coexist where she also served as a designer. In 2018, she decided to close down her brand to focus on her other endeavors. Her last project for the brand was a wedding gown she made for her best friend.

Laureen Uy

Before launching her then-blog Break My Style, Laureen Uy owned a fashion brand called Stylebreak. She also dabbled in acting a bit and made appearances in the teleseryes My Binondo Girl and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw.

Jaz Reyes

Jaz Reyes has been slaying in the content department with her creative Instagram photos. In case you didn't know, Jaz is also an events host and a radio DJ at 99.5 Play FM.

Macoy Dubs

Known for hilariously dubbing popular movies and for giving birth to the internet-favorite Auntie Julie persona, Macoy Dubs (Mark Averilla IRL) is also an instructor at his alma mater, Colegio de San Juan de Letran. Before that, Macoy also worked multiple jobs as an editorial assistant, a writer, and a social media manager.

Raiza Contawi

Raiza Contawi is one of the most followed beauty gurus in the local YouTube scene. Before committing to becoming a content creator, Raiza had a corporate job as a financial analyst which she eventually quit to focus on being a makeup artist. While working as a makeup artist, Raiza would also work on producing her YouTube videos.
