On September 4, 2020, the local YouTube community was stricken with news of popular content creator and YouTuber Lloyd Cafe Cadena's passing. He suffered a heart attack in his sleep and had also tested positive for COVID-19 a day before. Fellow YouTubers and internet personalities like Wil Dasovich, Michelle Dy, Macoy Dubs, and even international pop star Mariah Carey, all paid tribute to Lloyd and his impact on the local vlogging scene.

On September 19, in an unexpected but touching surprise, the last ever vlog Lloyd had filmed was uploaded on his official vlogging channel. The vlog was filmed on August 27, 2020 and centers on Lloyd's shopping haul featuring all the new things he bought for his family's brand new house.

After years of making YouTube videos and earning through the platform, Lloyd was finallly able to fulfill his dream of giving his mother and his family their own house and lot. In his last ever vlog, Lloyd was happily unboxing new additions to his home while being his usual self, cracking jokes and spreading good vibes.

One of the things he had purchased was a fire extinguisher for his house. Lloyd claimed that living in an area where fires often happened made him anxious about his own family's safety. Another thing he bought were brand new speakers for their TV. He also shared that he refrained from spending and had saved up all his hard-earned money to buy everything that was in his haul.
